Mostaccioli

This hearty baked Mostaccioli brings together rich Italian flavors and nutrient-conscious ingredients to create a satisfying, crowd-pleasing meal. Ground beef is simmered with garlic, onions, sage, and paprika, forming a robust, aromatic base that delivers both protein and depth of flavor. Grated tomatoes provide a bright, antioxidant-rich sauce, while Italian seasoning, fresh thyme, basil, and bay leaves add layers of herbal complexity. A touch of cocoa powder enhances the natural richness of the tomatoes, giving the sauce a subtle, sophisticated depth.
Gluten-free Mostaccioli ensures the dish remains accessible for those with dietary sensitivities, while maintaining the familiar texture and comfort of classic pasta bakes. Generous amounts of mozzarella and parmesan melt into the sauce, creating a creamy, cohesive finish that binds the pasta without overpowering it. Cubes of butter on top help develop a beautifully golden crust as the dish bakes.
Perfect for family dinners, gatherings, or meal prep, this baked Mostaccioli offers a balanced combination of protein, healthy fats, and slow-digesting carbohydrates. It’s a modern, wholesome take on traditional comfort food—especially when served alongside warm rosemary-garlic rolls.
